Why we built PicFiddle
PicFiddle started with a familiar frustration: you just want to crop a photo or shrink it to fit an email, and you end up wading through search results — ad-covered converter sites, “free” tools that demand an account or stamp a watermark, editors that want you to upload private photos to an unknown server. The simple jobs had become weirdly hard.
So we built the site we wanted to exist: one place with the quick image fixes people actually need, running entirely in your browser, respecting your privacy, and getting out of your way. That adds up to a few simple promises:
One site instead of ten tabs
Resize, crop, convert, compress, round corners, add padding, watermark, annotate, pixelate, generate favicons, rotate, inspect EXIF data, strip EXIF metadata, convert to black & white, blur images, apply vintage effects, make photo collages and make photo stacks — the quick fixes people actually need, gathered in one place. Always growing
PicFiddle is an ongoing project. We keep polishing the existing tools and adding new ones — iPhone HEIC decoding and image-to-PDF output already ship, with free-angle straightening and smarter compression on the way.
