How does target-size mode work?
It searches for the highest JPEG/WebP quality that stays under your target, so the file is as small as required without looking worse than it needs to.
What if my target is impossible?
If even the minimum quality can’t get under the target, you get the closest possible result and a note telling you so.
Which format compresses best?
WebP usually produces the smallest files at the same visual quality. JPEG is the safe fallback for older apps and websites.
Can I compress multiple images at once?
Yes — drop a whole folder’s worth of files and hit “Download all (ZIP)”. In target-size mode every image gets its own best quality that fits your target.
